Cowboys’ Dak Prescott leaving Adidas for Jordan Brand

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is leaving Adidas to sign a five-year deal with Jordan Brand, a source tells The Athletic. ESPN first reported the news.

Prescott has been photographed wearing all black Jordan cleats during OTAs and minicamp with the Cowboys. In April, the Cowboys and Prescott agreed to a four-year, $160 million contract with more than $120 million guaranteed.

Entering his sixth NFL season, Prescott has been practicing without apparent limitations as he recovers from surgery on a compound fracture and dislocation of his right ankle suffered in October. He said earlier Wednesday he has felt “ready to go” since early May.

Before his injury last season, Prescott threw for 1,856 yards, nine touchdowns and four interceptions in five games.
