The Texas Rangers scored four runs and the Anaheim Angels scored zero runs.

After the Angels pretty effortlessly took the first two games in this series, the Rangers battled back to win the last two contests and escape Anaheim with a series split.

This mostly just highlights how frustrating it must be to care even a little about the Angels because, though they’re missing Mike Trout and Anthony Rendon, they have no business losing to the 2021 Texas Rangers in their home ballpark with baseball’s most outrageously talented player pitching and hitting for them.

For those who do not like the Angels at all, however, it remains one of life’s funniest things. May they always be the prodigal sons of the baseball gods.
