San Antonio Spurs star forward LaMarcus Aldridge will not take part in the restart of the 2019-20 season.

The team announced that Aldridge had a surgical procedure performed on his right shoulder Monday that will cause him to miss the rest of the 2019-20 season. Aldridge suffered the injury on Feb. 21 in a road game against the Utah Jazz. He then played on Feb. 23 in Oklahoma City before missing the next six games. He then played on March 10 against the Dallas Mavericks and scored 24 points.
