There is no challenger to the undisputed champion

I don’t know why I am still surprised by the interest in the National Football League, maybe it is the fact that it is so big and just keeps getting bigger. Watching the first round of the draft in Las Vegas all you could see was a sea of people, standing in place for hours all just wanting to be a part of the spectacle. Why? That is a question we all answer every day.
Football is no longer a season confined to the fall, it is a year round sport. If our team had a bad season, there is always hope for next season. Who will be the next star, the next coach, the next winning formula.
So much talk about the players drafted and the trades made, the grades come out, some good and some not so much. But we all want to know.
The draft has become a must see event, the ratings for round one were enormous, and the NFL is paying attention. During round one of the draft, I could not help but notice the promos for the release of the regular season schedule, on national television!! Get your party ready for May 12th, the next big NFL event.
No other sport comes close to the popularity of the National Football League, the NFL is the undisputed champion and at least for the foreseeable future, there is no challenger.
