There is Nothing Like Being There!

I love the game of football, anyone who knows me understands my belief that football is the greatest game ever invented. Weekends in front of the TV are always a great time. But being there is still the best. My wife, Maggie and I along with Jason, Joanna and Erika Minnix had the pleasure of being at AT&T Stadium Sunday to watch the Cowboys beat the Commanders. The thrill of being in the presence of 93,000 screaming fans, dressed in Cowboys gear with some Washington sprinkled in. The towel waving and the noise that grew louder as the Cowboys lead got bigger. Not to mention the ice cold beer and one of the best hot dogs I have had, a Frito pie chili dog, YUM! For that moment in time we all see eye to eye, we are all on the same team, cheering in a billion dollar stadium that is a sight to see. Heck we even got a pep talk before the game from The Playmaker himself, Michael Irvin on that giant screen that hangs from the roof of Jerry World. It’s an experience that can not be re-created anywhere. All sporting events are fun, don’t get me wrong, but a Cowboys game at the house that Jerry built is one of a kind entertainment.
