Stephon Gilmore Impressed by Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs at Cowboys Training Camp

Out here in Onxard, Stephen Jones told us yesterday on The Blitz that this is one of the most
competitive rosters the Dallas Cowboys have had in training camp in a long time.

While some position groups have log jams that will create tough decisions for the brain trust,
kicker is still open.

On the defensive side, I will continue to say this defense has a chance to be historically good –
Micah Parsons posted on Instagram Wednesday “Number One Defense Coming Soon” – while
Micah is THE guy on the defensive side, newcomer Stephon Gilmore is a great addition.

Gilmore joined us on The Blitz Wednesday and while he did not say who the better corner was,
he does love his new teammate in Trevon Diggs.

“He's a great player. Obviously, we all know he's got great ball skills. He can cover anybody… I
just try to teach him how to study the game. How to prepare for the game. What to do in certain
situations. I think he can be the best in the league."

High praise for Diggs and Gilmore is not wrong, that is why he just got paid.

And while Diggs may turn into one of the best corners, Parsons may be one of the best defensive
players in the league and Gilmore has been impressed.

“I have never seen nothing like it before. You know, he is special,” Gilmore said.
“He's fast, strong and one thing that sticks out with him is he has a motor. He never gets tired. He
is a special player and I'm super excited to play with him because I know… those quarterbacks
gonna be running for their lives.”
